In the past, I have covered applications such as McMoney and MoneySMS, which are mobile apps that allow you to earn passive income by letting your number receive SMS messages periodically. In this space, there is also an application called Simcash.IO, which operates similarly but instead of receiving SMS, you send out messages in exchange for a monetary reward. However, the question remains: Is this application truly legitimate, or is it something you should avoid altogether?
In this review, I will delve deeper into Simcash.IO to examine its features, functionality, and legitimacy. I will explore how the application works, its earning potential, and the overall user experience to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of whether Simcash.IO is a trustworthy platform for earning money by sending messages. Let’s get started!

What exactly is Simcash?
Simcash is a mobile application that allows users to earn money by sending out SMS messages.
How can you start earning with Simcash?
To start earning with Simcash, you will need to download the application on your mobile device. You are going to have to download the APK file separately, as the app is not available on the Google Play store. Please note that Simcash is currently only available for Android, so if you are an iOS user, you won’t be able to use the app.
Next, before proceeding to the registration area, you will need to grant the app certain permissions, including making Simcash your default SMS app. This step is mandatory, so if you don’t enable it, you will be unable to earn with the application.
Once you have finished granting permissions, you can proceed to create an account. You will need to provide your existing email address and your legal real name (required for receiving payments). Unfortunately, at the time of writing this review, signing up using social media account options was not possible at all. After successfully signing up, you can log into the app and begin earning with Simcash.
How do you earn with Simcash?
Earning with Simcash primarily involves selling your unused SMS messages. After logging in to the app, you will then have to configure the application. Once configured, you can let the app run in the background to essentially earn passive income.
Upon logging into the app, you will immediately see your earnings displayed on the dashboard, and you will also be able to configure your SIM card. To activate your SIM card(s), simply click on one of the boxes and set it to “Active.” If you have 2 SIM cards, then you will be able to configure both of them.
You can also specify the countries to which the SMS messages will be sent, and I would recommend to focus on your own country to maximize efficiency. Next, you should be setting limits on the number of messages sold per hour, day, week, and month.
After configuring the limits, the next step is to determine the value of each SMS message. You should be able to see a slider, and you can adjust it to set the price accordingly. I would recommend to start with a fair price, approximately at the edge of the green section, which would be around €0.0030 per SMS message sent.
The key is to strike a balance. Setting a higher price may result in fewer sales, while setting it too low could lead to high sales volume but lower earnings. Configuring SMS messages is crucial in order to strike a balance to ensure decent earnings, so experimentation may be necessary to find the optimal earning potential of Simcash.
Simcash also offers a referral program that enables you to earn additional rewards by inviting others to use the app. The program operates on two tiers: Level 1 referrals consist of people you directly invite with your code, while Level 2 referrals are individuals invited by your Level 1 referrals using their own codes. Commissions can be earned from both levels.
For Level 1 referrals, you will receive a 10% commission for each SMS message they sell, while Level 2 referrals will earn you a 5% commission. Overall, it’s not a terrible referral program, but keep in mind that the rewards may not be very huge. Nevertheless, it provides an effortless way to earn a bonus without requiring significant effort.
How much money can you earn?
The earning potential of Simcash is not particularly high. The maximum amount you can earn per SMS is €0.0050, which is not that much, and setting the price at that level will result in fewer sales of unused SMS. A more realistic earning range per SMS is around €0.0020 to €0.0030. While the app may not offer significant earning potential, it does provide a unique opportunity to convert your unused SMS into money. However, when compared to similar apps, Simcash falls a bit short in terms of earning potential in my opinion.
How do you cash out?
When it comes to withdrawing your earnings, one option is to transfer your earnings to another SimCash account, but that doesn’t really qualify as cashing out. To convert your earnings into cash, you have the option to either convert them to cryptocurrency or withdraw them directly to your bank account via wire transfer or PayPal.
The minimum withdrawal amount and associated fees vary depending on the chosen payment method. For XRP withdrawals, the minimum amount is €6 with no withdrawal fees. However, if you opt for PayPal, the threshold remains €6 but there is a transaction fee of €1.50, resulting in a reduced payout.
For direct bank transfers, both the minimum threshold (€50) and the transaction fee (€10 or $15) are higher when compared to other options. If you prefer converting your earnings to Bitcoin, the minimum threshold is €30 with a transaction fee of €6.80. These payment thresholds are quite high when compared to similar platforms, so keep that in mind heading in.
Is Simcash safe to use?
The company states that Simcash uses your unused SMS messages to send one-time passwords (OTPs). Essentially, they provide a service to other apps by sending OTPs to other SIM cards within the country you specify. This is how they generate revenue and are able to compensate you for your unused SMS messages.
Prior to using the app, I would suggest to review the terms and conditions of your network carrier to ensure compliance. This means that if your network carrier prohibits this type of use with your SIM card, then Simcash is not suitable for you, since you may run into potential problems.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Can you use Simcash on desktop-based devices?
No, it is not possible to use Simcash on computers since the app is mobile-only. You can use Simcash on Android devices, but the iOS version is currently not available.
Is Simcash available globally?
Simcash appears to be available worldwide, which means that anyone should be able, in theory, to join the application. You’ll be able to check if your country is eligible when signing up for an account.
How do you contact support?
You can get in touch with the Simcash support team by heading over to their website and selecting the “Contact Us” option located in the top right section of the website. There is also an FAQ page that you can browse to see if your question has already been answered.
So, is Simcash legit or a scam?
Simcash is a legitimate mobile applicaiton that allows you to earn passive income by allowing the app to utilize your unused SMS messages. It’s a very simple way to earn a small amount of cash without putting in that much effort, but the application does not really offer a good earning potential. Additionally, sending out SMS messages can carry a risk since telecommunications companies may view it as spammy behavior. If this does not bother you, then I think that it’s worth giving the app a try, but it will definitely not make you rich.
