What exactly is Survey Pirate?
Survey Pirate is a mobile GPT (“Get-Paid-To”) application that pays you to complete tasks such as downloading and testing other applications or answering surveys.
How can you start earning with Survey Pirate?
To begin earning with SurveyPirate, the first step is to download the application to your smartphone. The app is exclusively available for Android mobile devices, so if you are an iOS user, then you won’t unfortunately be able to earn with the application. Also, it’s not possible to use the app on desktop devices.
The next step is to register an account. For this, you must have either an existing Google or Facebook account, as no other registration options are available currently. Once this is done, you will be logged into the app, where you can start earning money.
How do you earn with Survey Pirate?
SurveyPirate is a GPT (“Get-Paid-To”) application, which means it that it provides various ways for you to earn money with, and I will cover all these methods in this section of the review. As you complete activities, you’ll receive payment in the form of “Coins”, which can later be redeemed for rewards such as PayPal or gift cards (the exact selection of payout options will depend on your location).
Perform tasks such as sharing the app
One way to earn a small number of coins on Survey Pirate is to complete one-time tasks. These can include actions like sharing the application on various social media channels (such as Facebook or Twitter) or verifying your phone number.
Checking in daily to earn 10 coins is also a possibility. Clearly, rewards for all these tasks are quite low. But, it can still be a useful feature to help reach the minimum payment threshold, for example.
Another option for earning coins on the app is by answering surveys. On the main dashboard, you’ll be presented with various survey providers to choose from. Location also matters here, but some examples include InBrain and CPX Research Surveys.
Once you select a provider, you’ll be presented with various surveys to choose from. You can see in advance how much each survey pays and roughly how long one survey might take to complete. These surveys can cover a wide range of topics and can last anywhere from 1-30 minutes in length, although the majority of the surveys tend to be on the shorter side.
One annoying issue that comes with answering surveys is the risk of disqualification. So, to avoid that as much as possible, make sure to always keep your answers consistent and truthful. You might also have to take a screener test, but keep in mind that qualification is never guaranteed, as research companies generally look for specific demographics when selecting participants.
You can also earn coins by completing various offers, which may include tasks such as playing games, downloading and testing other applications, or watching videos. These are provided by so-called “Offerwall” partners, with whom SurveyPirate has teamed up with. The selection here is fairly decent, and you can complete offers via offerwalls such as Fyber, AdGate, ayeT-Studios, or OfferToro.
Just like with surveys, you can see in advance how much each offer pays and what actions you must complete. Make sure to always read through any rules and requirements beforehand to ensure that you are properly compensated for your efforts in the end. Any in-progress offers can be found in the “Status” section of the application, where you’ll also be able to contact offerwalls in case there are any problems that you need help with.
Lastly, Survey Pirate also has a referral program that allows you to invite your friends to join the application to earn a bit of additional income. Once you have shared your referral code with your friends and they become your referrals, you will receive 100 coins and a lifetime 5% commission on any earnings they make while using the app. As a bonus, your friends will also get 50 coins.

How much money can you earn?
The potential earnings from Survey Pirate heavily depend on the amount of time and effort you are willing to invest in the application. The application certainly offers a decent number of offerwalls and survey providers to choose from, so you most likely won’t run out of tasks. However, your location can have a significant impact, as certain regions may receive a higher number of (and better paying) opportunities.
But, just because there are many offers and surveys, it doesn’t mean that the pay is good. Based on my experience, the application generally offered rather low rewards for completing such tasks. Therefore, in my opinion, the earning potential of SurveyPirate is rather limited.
How do you cash out?
When it comes to withdrawing your earnings, your location also plays a role. For my country, I could initiate a withdrawal through PayPal and TripGift gift cards. Each country generally has its own options for cashing out, which can be checked by changing the country (above the withdrawal options).
As previously mentioned, Survey Pirate rewards you in the form of coins, and 4,350 coins equals €3, which was the minimum payment threshold for me personally. While this might seem like a relatively low threshold, it’s important to remember that the earning potential of the app isn’t that high. So, depending on what kind of surveys and tasks are available to you, it may take some time before you can receive your first payment from Survey Pirate.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

At the time of writing this review, Survey Pirate was exclusively available for Android mobile devices, meaning it’s not possible to use the app on computers or if you’re an iOS user.
Who can join Survey Pirate?
Survey Pirate seems to be available worldwide, meaning that anyone should be able to join the application, regardless of their location. You can specifically check your eligibility by seeing whether you can download the app from the Google Play Store.
How do you contact support?
You can reach Survey Pirate support by clicking on the three-stripe icon located in the top left corner of the app and then selecting the “Contact Us” option. They also have an FAQ section that you can browse to see if your question has already been answered.
So, is Survey Pirate legit or a scam?
Survey Pirate is a legitimate mobile application that pays you for completing various tasks. It’s easy to use and offers decent withdrawal options, but in my opinion, the application’s earning potential just isn’t that impressive. I would personally explore other such GPT applications first and only turn to Survey Pirate if for some reason nothing else works for you.
