How can you start earning with Premise?

The first step to start earning with Premise is to download the application for your smartphone. Premise is available exclusively for Android and iOS mobile devices, which means that it is not possible to use the app on a desktop-based device.

After the application has been successfully installed on your device, the next step is to sign up for an account. You can use your existing email address for this, or for a more hassle-free registration process, you can use your Google account instead. Once done, you should be able to log in to the app where you can begin earning money.

How do you earn with Premise?

Answer surveys

One option for earning money with Premise is by answering surveys. Now, these aren’t traditional surveys that you would find on GPT (“Get-Paid-To”) websites – instead, these are surveys provided by Premise itself and are typically very short. They require you to answer various things, such as your internet & mobile phone usage, health education in your country, and much more.

They are recurring, which means that once you have answered a survey, you will be able to answer it again in a couple of days, and still receive compensation. In my experience, all recurring surveys pay €0.08, but I’ve also seen some that pay €0.16. You can also receive higher-paying surveys that pay €1 for example, but these are generally one-time only.

Premise carefully checks your answers and how fast you answer a survey, so make sure to take your time and to provide consistent answers, otherwise you will simply get rejected and end up wasting your time.

Location-based tasks

Another way to earn money with Premise is by completing location-based tasks. These essentially require you to locate something in your city, such as a supermarket or a hospital, take a couple of pictures of the location, and answer a few questions about the place.

Just like with surveys, these are for the most part recurring, so once you have photographed a certain location, you can do it again in the future and the same photos will still work. In my experience, Premise pays about €0.15 – €0.60 per location, but your experience may vary greatly.

Usually, the best time to do these location tasks is at the start of the day or late in the evening, as you will have the most location tasks available to you. It seems these tasks are shared in your general area, so you will have access to most tasks at the start of the day when there is a reset, and at the end of the day when other people don’t complete their reserved tasks.

There is also a separate tab called “Explore”, but in all the time that I have used Premise, I never had any tasks available for me there, so I am not able to comment on the exploration jobs.

How much money can you earn?

When it comes to the earning potential of Premise, it is very heavily dependent on your location. It seems that certain regions receive more and better-paying opportunities when compared to others. For example, I have never had any exploration tasks available in my country, but people living in other regions do seem to get those.

For the most part, the payment offered for surveys (at least for me personally) was really low, but they are very short and easy to answer. Location-based tasks do pay better, but they require you to physically travel to a certain location and take photographs. So, if you are an active person in life and move around your city a lot, I think that Premise is definitely worth having on your phone to earn that occasional €5 here and there, but otherwise, with just surveys, the app has a very low earning potential in my experience.

How do you cash out?

For withdrawing your earnings, Premise offers various options depending on your location. Personally, I can cash out using Coinbase and PayPal payments. The minimum withdrawal threshold for Coinbase is €4 and €10 for PayPal, but this can also depend on where you are located in the world. Payments are usually made pretty much instantly.

However, Premise does have a rather bad track record of their payment systems going down and not being available for multiple days, if not even weeks. If you do experience that, then you will simply have to wait until they get it fixed and request a cash out then.

Final Thoughts

So, is Premise legit or a scam?

Premise is a legitimate mobile application that pays you for completing location-based tasks and answering surveys. It has a user-friendly design and you are more or less guaranteed at least some tasks each day, but your location will ultimately determine the earning potential of the app. I think that Premise is definitely worth using if you move around the city a lot already and can complete the location-based tasks. But if not, then you might want to look into other beermoney options instead.

Summary

Premise is not a bad application to earn money with if you are willing to complete the location-based tasks, but the overall earning potential will mostly be determined by your country of residence.
