How do you earn on methinks?

The primary way of earning on methinks is by participating in various surveys and interviews. Before you begin, it’s important to fill out your profile in order to increase your overall chance of being selected for projects. This includes filling out personal and demographics information, which devices you use, how much media you consume and so on. This can be done by heading to “Profile” section of the application.

Now that the profile has been successfully filled out, you can begin applying to interviews and surveys. You can do so under the “Paid Gigs” tab. From here, you will see all the potential projects that are available to you.

In addition to surveys and interviews, you can also earn a bonus by inviting your friends to join the platform. When you refer someone you, both you and your referral will receive a $5 bonus once they have completed their first project that pays at least $10.

How much money can you earn?

In general, the compensation offered on methinks for participating in various projects is quite good. In the example below, you can see that you can earn $20 via PayPal for a focus group interview that lasts around 30-60 minutes. Keep in mind that such interviews usually will require a device capable of conducting video chats.

You can also find surveys that are much shorter in length and don’t require video calls. But, it is very important to note here that you are never guaranteed to be selected for projects. You will first have to go through a screener questionnaire, which will determine if you are an exact person who the researcher is looking for. Overall, I can definitely say that the pay offered on methinks is adequate, however it cannot be relied upon as consistent income, since there is no way to guarantee that a company will select you for their project.

How do you cash out?

As of writing this review, there are 2 withdrawal options available to you – PayPal and Amazon gift cards. Each project generally has its own preferred payout method (you will see how you will receive payment as you browse potential interviews and surveys). Also, the company states that if you are not able to receive payment through the project’s selected method, then you can contact them separately to see what can be done.

Closing comments

So, is methinks really legit or is it a scam?

methinks is a legitimate application that pays users for participating in various surveys and interviews. It has a user-friendly interface that is easy to use and the pay offered for projects is pretty good. However, there is no way to guarantee that you will be selected for any interviews and surveys, meaning that it cannot be relied upon as a regular source of income. If you are looking for surveys that are a bit more consistent and don’t require a separate questonnaire, then I would suggest to check out something like AttaPoll instead. Overall, I do recommend using methinks, but be aware that the earning potential can be limited due to the screening process.
