With so many “Get-Paid-To” websites existing these days, it can be difficult to find ones that are actually worth looking into. In the vast sea of GPT options, there is a website called PlayNANO, which not only promises to pay you for traditional tasks like answering surveys or signing up for various services, but also for playing games such as Minecraft. However, is it actually a legitimate way to earn cash online, or is it just a waste of time?

In this review, I will delve into PlayNANO’s features, payout process, and user experiences to help you make an informed decision about whether PlayNANO is worth of investing your time into or if it’s a scam to avoid. Let’s dive in!

What exactly is PlayNANO?

PlayNANO is a “Get-Paid-To” platform that allows you to earn the NANO (XNO) cryptocurrency through activities such as answering surveys, playing games, or claiming the faucet.

How can you start earning on PlayNANO?

To be able to earn on PlayNANO, you are going to have to sign up for an account. You will need to have an existing email address and choose a username, as registering using any social media channels was not possible at the time of writing this review. Once this is done, you’ll be able to log in to the website and begin earning XNO.

How do you earn on PlayNANO?

As PlayNANO is a GPT (“Get-Paid-To”) platform, it has various ways in which you can earn XNO cryptocurrency, and I’ll talk about all of them in this section of the review. One thing I should mention here is that this website pays out exclusively in NANO and gift cards, so if you are not willing to accept payments in those forms, then I would look into other GPT platforms instead.

Complete offers

One way to earn XNO on PlayNANO is by completing offers, a feature commonly found on almost all “Get-Paid-To” websites. These are essentially various smaller tasks that you can complete, such as signing up for various services, downloading and testing applications, or playing games.

This can be done by clicking on “Earn” located at the top of the website and then selecting the “Tasks & Surveys” option. From there, you’ll be presented with various “offerwalls” to choose from. They are third-party services responsible for bringing you offers to complete, as PlayNANO does not have its own tasks that you can do.

In my experience, the selection of offerwalls was quite limited, with only 5 offerwalls available along with 2 dedicated survey providers (I’ll talk about surveys separately in just a moment). Nevertheless, all you have to do is select an offerwall, after which you’ll be presented with various offers to choose from. You’ll be able to view in advance how much each offer pays and what kind of actions you must complete to receive the advertised reward.

I strongly recommend familiarizing yourself with all the rules and requirements beforehand to ensure that you don’t run into any issues, such as not receiving the prize. If you encounter problems, you will have to contact the offerwall through which you completed the offer separately, as PlayNANO will not be able to help you directly.

Answer surveys

Another option for earning XNO on PlayNANO is by answering surveys. You can do so through third-party survey providers CPX Research and Yuno Surveys. It’s possible to answer surveys through regular offerwalls as well, but for the most part, I recommend using the dedicated partners for this, as they tend to pay more for your time.

After selecting a provider, you’ll be given a range of surveys to choose from, and you’ll be able to see how much each offer pays and how long it might approximately take to complete one. In general, surveys last anywhere from 1-30 minutes in length, however, longer surveys (that pay more) are possible too, so it comes down to how much time you are willing to spend on each survey.

When answering surveys, make sure to never rush through them and always keep your answers honest and consistent, as you risk disqualification if the survey provider finds your answers to be of low quality. In addition, keep in mind that it might take some patience before you find surveys that you qualify for, as research companies are usually looking for specific sets of demographics when selecting participants for their surveys.

Watch videos

You can also watch videos on PlayNANO to earn XNO. They are divided into two separate categories – Watch & Learn and HideoutTV. To summarize the latter, you keep the video player running, and you get rewarded for each advertisement that is shown to you. To learn more about HideoutTV, you can check out my separate review of it.

On the other hand, Watch & Learn gives you a one-time reward for watching 10 videos. You’ll also be presented with various interesting facts about the NANO cryptocurrency itself. It’s an easy way to earn a bit of NANO, but the rewards offered are quite small when compared to something like Coinbase.

Claim the faucet

In addition, it’s possible to claim free NANO from something known as a faucet. Here’s how it works: you’ll be given a list of faucets to choose from, and all you have to do is enter your XNO wallet address after selecting a faucet, and you’ll be sent NANO. The amount that you’ll receive from each faucet is very small (about 0.0001 NANO), but it’s still an easy way to claim some XNO once per hour, and you can do so via multiple faucets.

Play games

Separate from the games that you can find on offerwalls, you can earn NANO through the separate “Play” feature. At the current moment, there are 2 options for this – Jumper and Minecraft.

In Jumper, every match begins with a 12 by 12 grid, and the ultimate goal is to be the last player remaining on the grid. During each round, all players make their moves together. Based on their jump class, they leap to a new tile and clear a row or column from the grid. All these actions occur at the end of each round at the same time.

Keep in mind that each grid tile has 2 hit points (HP). If a tile gets cleared twice, it’s gone, and any player on it loses the game. Tiles cleared only once are one sweep away from being removed, so it’s wise to steer clear of them.

But, one thing I should mention here is that you will need own some existing NANO to be able to take part in the Jumper game. The game creator defines the entry amount of each game, which is how much XNO you have to send in order to join the game.

Every player you successfully sweep during the game will reward you with half of the entry fee. The last player remaining on the grid collects the remaining prize pool. These values are divided when more than one player swept the same player, or when all remaining players fall at the same time – in this case, the pot is divided by all of them. PlayNANO takes a 5% fee from each game.

When it comes to Minecraft, I tried to connect to their server, called Railblocks MC, where you are supposed to be able to earn NANO by trading in-game items in addition to other activities. However, I was unable to test it out since the server was down. I also checked their Discord, and it seems like the server has not been online for quite a while, so it appears to me that PlayNANO has simply forgotten to remove the Minecraft tab from their website.

Betting

You can also bet on 2 games if you wish to – roulette and something known as NanoSquares, where you basically have to find the winning square. But, I personally would not recommend this, as both of them are chance-based and there is no way to guarantee that you will actually win. If you do decide to give them a try, make sure that you proceed with caution and understand that you are gambling.

Invite friends

And lastly, you can invite your friends to join PlayNANO to earn some additional income. You’ll be given your own affiliate link, and all you have to do is share it with your friends. Once they become your referral, you will then earn a commission based on their earnings.

The program itself is divided into three levels. At the initial level, known as Direct Referrals (Level 1), you can earn a 25% commission for each successful referral you make. Second-level referrals invited by your friends (Level 2) will earn you a 10% commission. Even third-level referrals (Level 3) play a role, yielding a 5% commission.

In addition, all of the features of PlayNANO count for the referral program. The “Earn” section will bring you a 20% commission, while “Play” will make you 5%. Also, your referrals’ betting will earn you NANO (2.7% to 5%). Withdrawals count as well, ranging from 3% to 15% commission.

How much money can you earn?

When it comes to the earning potential of PlayNANO, I have to say that it is a bit limited. The reason is that there are simply not enough earning opportunities, in my opinion. For instance, surveys and offers have a rather small number of providers to choose from, especially when compared to other “Get-Paid-To” websites.

While it is possible to use HideoutTV to earn a bit of passive income, I personally recommend using something like LootUp to get the best exchange rate possible for your points. Faucets are a simple way to earn but come with extremely low rewards. Additionally, the “Play” section does not offer good options for earning NANO, as Jumper requires you to wager XNO, and Minecraft currently does not work at all.

So, it all comes down to whether you want to earn NANO specifically. If you are looking to earn actual cash, then other GPT platforms are simply a more worthwhile investment of your time.

How do you cash out?

The primary method of cashing out from PlayNANO is through XNO. This means that you will need to own a wallet that supports NANO payments. While it is possible to use cryptocurrency exchanges to receive payments, I highly recommend having your separate wallet for this purpose. Personally, I use a wallet called WeNano, and it has worked without any issues for me so far.

You also have the option to exchange your earned XNO for gift cards, including Amazon, Steam, Google Play, and more. Additionally, you can top up your mobile phone if your carrier is supported (such as ATT, Unefon, etc.). This can be done by clicking on the “Spend” button located at the top of the website.

Final Thoughts

So, is PlayNANO legit or a scam?

PlayNANO is a legitimate “Get-Paid-To” website that allows you to earn the XNO cryptocurrency by participating in various activities. It’s simple to use and is open for anyone to join, but you can’t cash out using actual real money, and the platform offers a limited earning potential. Personally, I think that other GPT websites are simply a better investment of your time, and PlayNANO is only worth considering if you really want to earn just NANO specifically.
