In today’s fast-paced world, earning additional income has become a priority for many individuals. There are now quite a few mobile applications which allow us to earn some extra cash in our spare time, and one such app is called SEAgent, which claims that you can earn money by receiving SMS messages on your smartphone. However, you might have a valid concern – is SEAgent actually legit or is it a scam?
In this review, I’ll take a closer look at the features, benefits, and user experience of SEAagent and uncover whether the application can be trusted or not. Let’s begin!
What exactly is SEAgent?
SEAgent is a mobile application developed for Android devices that compensates you for each message that your smartphone receives.
How can you start earning with SEAgent?
To start earning with SEAgent, you will first need to download the mobile application for your Android mobile device. Since it is not listed on the Google Play Store, you will have to download the APK file from the company’s website. Please note that as of writing this review, the app is not available for the iOS operating system.
Once the software has been installed on your mobile device, you can then sign up for the service, which can be done by using a Google account and a phone number. It is currently not possible to register using any other social media accounts. Double check that you select the correct mobile operator to make sure that you will receive the verification message. You can also start with a sign-up bonus if you use my referral code csjs3aej during the registration process.
How do you earn with SEAgent?
The main way of earning with SEAgent is by receiving text messages to your smartphone and getting paid for them. Essentially, the company will periodically start sending test SMS messages to your phone (your mobile device is going to have to be connected to the internet in order for the application to work). This process is automatic, as long as you have stable internet connection.
According to the company, the daily data usage is comparable to a few WhatsApp messages. It’s important to note here that the application is currently in the Beta phase, so it might take a while before you receive your first test message.
You can also earn a bit extra income by inviting your friends to join the SEAgent application. Simply share your own personal code with a friend and both you and your referral will receive a one-time bonus as soon as they request their first payout. There is no limit as to how many people you can invite to SEAgent, so this could be a viable way to make some extra cash on the platform if you know someone who would be interested in using the app.
How much money can you earn?
According to the company, you will earn about $0.05 for each text message that your smartphone receives. Now, compared to similar applications such as McMoney or MoneySMS, this is not bad, since on those platforms you get paid around $0.02 per each SMS. However, I only recently started to use SEAgent and have yet to receive any test messages from SEAgent, so it’s hard for me to say how much you can really earn in the long run.
The company also states that during the Beta phase, you will be credited $1 each month automatically to your account, as long as the application is connected to the internet. I did personally receive the promised $1 for my first month, so I will be updating this review in the future once I manage to withdraw my earnings. For now, it seems like the earning potential is limited since the application is in the Beta phase.
How do you cash out?
At the current moment, the company offers the following payment methods for cashing out your earnings:
- Amazon gift card
- Apple gift card
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Is SEAgent available on desktop devices?
2. Can anyone join SEAgent?
It appears that most countries around the world can join SEAgent. You can check if your country is eligible to join during the registration process.
So, is SEAgent a legitimate application or a scam?
As of writing this review, it is hard for me to say with 100% confidence whether the app is legit or a scam. This is because the application is still fairly new and currently in the beta phase. I have been using SEAgent for over a month now personally, and despite having my device connected to the internet pretty much at all times, I am yet to see a single test message, while applications such as MoneySMS are working without any issues. However, the company did credit my account with the $1 that they promised to pay during the beta phase.
Once I am able to withdraw my earnings from the platform I will be making sure to update this review in the future. For now, if you do decide to give the platform a try, make sure to proceed with caution.
